Studio } Auditions

Northwest Dance Project auditions dancers for our company via our LAUNCH project.

LAUNCH Dancers must demonstrate advanced ballet technique, be versatile and movement oriented, be open to artistic direction and suggestion, and be explorative and highly professional.

Participation in LAUNCH is selective and limited in order to provide each dancer the opportunity to work directly and initimately with our artists.

All interested dancers must apply and audition in-person for LAUNCH: 8 unless they have participated in a previous LAUNCH Project within the last two years. Submit a completed application (see below), résumé, dance photo and auditon fee. Letter(s) of recommenation from a director or dance faculty member recommended.

Dancers who have particpated in LAUNCH in the previous two years can apply without auditioning — completed application and $25 audition fee must be received by Friday March 15 / 2013.

We can accept a limited number of auditions by DVD or on-line link. Permission must be requested prior and with good reason. We wish to remind dancers that because of LAUNCH's distinctiveness and limited positions, preference will always be given to those who audition in-person.

AUDITION Fee: $25 USD (non-refundable) cash or check only

EARLY AUDITION REGISTRATION IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AT EACH AUDITION FOR THOSE WHO DID NOT PRE-APPLY.
